During the course of the game's story, the Snowpoint Temple is off-limits to just about anyone. However, once you conquer the Pokemon League and receive the National Dex, Candice will allow you to enter.
Inside, you'll encounter some high level Pokemon and some easy to navigate Ice Paths. At the bottom of this temple rests what is supossibly a statue of Regigigas, the Giant Pokemon.
![]() If you talk to Regigigas without the other 3 Regis in your party, the only thing that will happen is you will read an inscription. But, if you have the 3 Regis in your party, Regigigas will awaken and challenge you. To get the Regis (Regice, -steel, and -rock) on D/P, you'll have to import them from RSE or FR/LG and capture them in Pal-Park.
![]() When you do have them in your party, return to Gigas. Talk to engage battle. Regigigas has the ability Slow Start, which halfs its speed and attack stats. Considering he has nearly 250 attack, this is wonderful. Start off by weakening it to the red health zone with some powerful moves. Then stall with moves like Double Team, Reflect/Barrier/Light Screen until Slow start wears off. Double Team will reduce your chance of being attacked, and the sheilds will reduce damage. Once Slow Star wears off, put it to sleep and hurl Dusk or Ultra balls until caught.
