Like the previous games, there are certain Pokemon that are barred from entering. Below are the Pokemon you cannot enter with.

There are three doors in the Tower. The right door is for WiFi. You can upload a team for others to fight, and download a team for you to fight.

The middle door leads to Standard Battles. You can engage in Single or Double battles and earn 3 BP each time you successfully knock out 7 trainers. However, on the 21st Single battle, you will fight Tower Tycoon Palmer who uses a Dragonite, Milotic, and Rhyperior. You will fight him again on the 49th battle and he will use Cresselia, Heatran, and Regigigas. He is quite possibly the strongest trainer in the game, and you will earn 20 BP if you beat him.

The left door leads to the Multi Rooms. You can engage in battles with your friends here. If you don't have any friends to battle against at the moment, you can engage in a double battle with any of the trainers you teamed up with during the game. These trainers will have more Pokemon to battle with.

If you battle with Cheryl, she will use Snorlax, Porygon 2, Blissey, Latios, Latias, Umbreon, Espeon, Gastrodon, PorygonZ, Milotic, or Cresselia.

If you battle with Mira, she will use Alakzam, Roserade, Magnezone, Zapdos, Gengar, Magmortar, Espeon, Gardevoir, Togekiss, Latios, PorygonZ, or Glaceon.

If you battle with Riley, he will use Lucario, Tyranitar, Poliwrath, Medicham, Machamp, Blaziken, Breloom, Rhydon, Gyarados, Salamence, Absol, Toxicroak, Rhyperior, Mamoswine, Rampardos, Ursaring, Slaking, Metagross, or Regigigas.

If you battle with Marley, she will use Dugtrio, Weavile, Sceptile, Crobat, Taillow, Aerodactyl, NInjask, or Starmie.

If you battle with Buck, he will use Umbreon, Probopass, Bastiodon, Skarmory, Steelix, Rhyperior, Dusknior, Forttress, Shuckle, Regirock, Regice, Registeel, or Cresselia.
