The Battle Dome, located near the Battle Tower, is home to tournament styled Pokemon battles. It looks like a giant white dome.

When you enter, it resonates something out of a dog show. To the left, you can register for single battles. To the right, you can register for double battles. To face the Battle Brain for this area, you will have to use single battles.

When you register, you will be asked what level cap you want: level 50, or open ended. You will then choose Pokemon based on that. After which, you will be taken to a room that is just outside the main battle arena.

Here, you can do several things. One is view your next opponet. This is vital as it helps you pick out what Pokemon to use next. Many of the trainers use Pokemon that may share a similar weakness. Two, you can see where you are in the tournament tree. Three, you can go out and battle. The last two things is retire and turn the game off, or quit the current tournament.

Battling the arena Pokemon trainers would be like fighting any other trainer; just pick on weakness and you'll be fine.

After participating 5 times and winning (19 battles in all) you'll be challenged by Dome Ace Tucker. His Pokemon have a weakness to Grass, Ice, Water, Dragon, and Rock. Pokemon with a good special and regular defense are almost needed. Pick on each Pokemon's weakness (Grass for Swampert; Ice, Dragon, and Rock for Salamence; Water and Rock for Charizard) and you should do fine. Defeat him, and you'll earn the Silver Ability symbol.

When you go through the Dome 10 times and win (39 battles in all), he will challenge you once again with a different line up. Defeat him, and he'll give you the Gold Ability symbol.
