An island rumored to be located at the edge of world is Faraway Island. This island is void of wild Pokemon and people--even the ship captain doubts what Mr Briney says about this island. However, inside a hidden clearing is a mirage Pokemon, #151.

Work your way through the maze, and you'll come across a entrance to a forest. Inside the forest is a patch of tall grass and Mew. It will flee into the tall grass when you enter. Follow it around and corner it, and press A when you think you've cornered it. It will jump out and attack you.

A few Pokemon around 30 will do good, like a Ghost Pokemon. Most of Mew's attacks will not harm it, unless it uses Transform. You should switch if Mew uses Transform (given that your Ghost Pokemon knows a Dark or Gohst move). Legendaries are discouraged. Ghost Pokemon should reduce Mew's health to red, and then possibly put it to sleep or paralyze it. Ultra Balls, or a Masterball, should be used. Once it is captured, there is nothing left on this island.
