Navel Rock is home to the legendary birds og GSC, Lugia and Ho-oh. This island can only be reached if you have the Mystic Ticket, which was only given out at Nintendo events. Getting to either bird is a very long and boring task, as there are countless floors to traverse before you will get to where either rests.

Pokemon around 60-80 will do here. Revives and full restores would be helpful.

Upon entering, you will come to a ladder, and then another, and then a long stretch of hall. Don't bother going to the left or right in this long hall; there is nothing there. keep going straight and it will fork. The left will lead to Ho-oh, and the right will lead to Lugia.

When you come to Ho-oh, it will engage battle with you. Lugia however, must be talked to. As with either bird, a strong Pokemon 60+ should weaken it to red health and immideately put it to sleep as both know Recover. Paralyzing or attemping to freeze it would also be acceptable, but there is still the chance of recovering or defrosting. Ultra Balls should be hurled when red health and sleep has been reached.
