![]() Introduced in FireRed and LeafGreen were elemental Hyper Beams. Essentially, these moves were Fire, Water, Leaf, or Electric-type Hyper Beams. Those moves were powerful and required the user to sit out one turn after it was used. However, one move was not seen in action, the Electric-type move Volt Tackle. So how does one get Volt Tackle? Not a single Pokemon learns it growing up. The answer is simple: breeding. One must have the following to get Volt Tackle: a male and female Raichu -or- a male and female Pikachu -or- a female Pikachu/Raichu and a Ditto, and the Light Ball item. Attach the Light Ball to the female Raichu/Pikachu and place it, along with its partner, in the daycare. Come back after some time and you'll have an egg.
![]() Hatch the egg, and the Pichu should know Volt Tackle as its fourth move. |
