FireRed and LeafGreen contain the Pokemon Eevee, which evolves into
one of five forms depending on how you affect it. Stones, happiness and
time can cause it to evolve into one of five forms, each one pertaining to a
specific type. It's easy to get Flareon, Vapereon, and Jolteon since the
stones can be bought for $2100 each. However, the question is how does
one go about and getting Espeon and Umbreon?
Well, the simple way it to just trade them from your Colloseum game and
onto your FR or LG. But what if you don't have Colloseum? You can't.
FR/LG does not incorporate the time system. So, this means they can't
evolve. But there is a way.
Here's how. Take you Eevee or one of its evolutions and place it in the
daycare with a Ditto. Do this twice to get two eggs. Now, hatch both
and you should have two more Eevee.
Now that you got two Eevee, you need to find someone who has a copy of
Ruby, Sapphire, or Emerald. Or if you have a link cable, another
Gameboy Advance, and one of the said versions, that's fine too. Trade both
Eevee to the other game. Now, your friend (or the other game) should
have 26 of the Stat Raising items. Use them all on both Eevee until
they will take no more. Fly home and check your game clock if it's not set to your local time (meaning, whatever time it is that you're playing the game). If its before 5 PM, take one of the Eevee and have it battle a couple of times until it gains a level. If it doesn't, keep trying until it does. Once 6 PM comes, take the other Eevee and do the same. One should evolve into Espeon, the other Umbreon. Then, trade them back to your FireRed or LeafGreen copy.
