The Safari Zone, a park where you can pay to capture Pokemon, returns once again in FireRed/LeafGreen. It is still in Fushcia City and the price to get is still 500. This time, no special key items (like in R/S) are needed to get entry.

After paying $500, you are given 30 Safari Balls, some bait, and some rocks to try to make Pokemon easy to capture. You can only take 500 steps in this 5 zoned park that is just crawling with rare Pokemon and dropped items.

Two key items needed to completing the game are located here. HM03 - Surf and the Gold Teeth. Surfing is needed to get some badges, find certain Pokemon, and get to certain key lcoations. The Gold Teeth can be traded for HM04 - Strength, which is used to solve certain puzzles and helps you open paths to new areas and Pokemon.

The following is every Pokemon obtainable in the Safari Zone at any given time. Some are more rarer than others, while some are more common. There will be at times however, where certain common Pokemon become rare and the rare Pokemon become easier to find. That does not mean they will be easier to capture though.
