Pokemon: Rattata, Raticate, Magnemite, Meowth, Farfetch'd, Tauros, Miltank, Snubbull Follow the routes west and then south and you'll find the next town. Along the way you'll pass the Moo-Moo farm. Search the grass alongside the Miltanks to find a hidden nugget. Also, if you have plenty of berries you can give them to a Miltank in the barn to help it get better. Once it is better, you can buy Moo-Moo Milk.
Your rival appear shortly after entering. Find the Mart and the Center and buy needed items/heal. Find the lighthouse, its the biggest building here. Enter and prepare for a long journey up. Each floor is rather simple, the stairs leading up are of course on the other side of you. There is plenty of trainers here and you'll probably need to run back to the center once to heal again. You'll reach the third (maybe fourth floor) and there will be a
blue girl near a hole in the floor. Battle her and drop down the hole.
(Going around to the other side will lead you to TM34 and a Rare
Candy.) Grab the ether here and go up. When you get to the big room,
grab the great ball before going up. On the final floor, speak with Jasmine and then grab the Super Potion in the hall to the left of this room. Now go to the hall on the right side of the room and drop down the hole. Keep dropping down the holes until you can't no more, and then leave the lighthouse. Now its time to leave Olivine and cross the sea. Before you do that, heal at the center. Go next door to the Poke-Center and talk to the sailor inside to receive HM04. Exit and keep going left until you get to some boulders. Down and little bit and use your Pokemon to surf here.
Pokemon: Tentacool, Tentacruel, Mantine (Gold Only) Just surf down, then left when you come to the island. Can't access the islands now, you'll have to wait until later for that. You'll soon reach Cianwood when you head west.
Several things to do here. First, enter one of the houses. If you see a green man, talk to him to receive a Shuckle (make room for it first).
Directly south of him is the pharmacy. Talk to the man inside to
receive the medicine for the lighthouse Pokemon. Now its time for the
gym, which is using Fighting-type Pokemon. Be sure to bring a Pokemon that
knows Strength along, as well as some Psychic and Flying Pokemon.
Right before the gym leader battle is a trio of boulders. Push the
outer two boulders up,, and then push the middle one to the left or
right. Talk to the leader
Chuck Pokemon: Primape L. 27, Poliwrath L. 29 Prize: Stormbadge, $3000, TM01 Poliwrath is weak to Grass, Electric, Psychic, or Flying-type moves. Use Awakening if you're put to sleep and pick on one of its weaknesses. Primape is the same deal, just weak to Psychic and Flying. Leave the gym and talk to the woman right outside the gym. She'll give you HM02. Teach it to a flying Pokemon and fly back to Olivine.
Heal at the Poke-Center if you need to. Return to the lighthouse and go
all the way to the top again. Speak with Jasmine and hand her to the
Secret Potion. Amphy is happy. Now head for the bottom. Once outside,
find the gym just near the entrance. Only one trainer here! Jasmine uses Steel-type.
Jasmine Pokemon: Magnemite L. 30, Magnemite L. 30, Steelix L. 35 Prize: A good leveled Fire Pokemon, like Quilava or even Typhlosion will do wonders here. However, alternatively, one could use Ground-type on everything, or Surf on Steelix. Six gyms done and two more to go. Or are there more? Leave town and return to Ecruteak City. Heal and buy items here if need be, and head east into Route 42.
