They are each at Level 50 and know only two attacks, one Flying and one of their element. They are still strong regardless. Stock up on Ultra Balls. Great Balls are acceptable if you don't have the funds. :: Articuno :: Fly to Cinnabar Island. Surf east from there. You see the east Seafoam Island. Enter and proceed through the ladders and what not. If you went the right way, you'll come across a stair leading to the water. Surf here and try to get to the other side. You'll notice you will be pulled away by the strong current and will not be able to get to Articuno, so that means we have to find a way to stop that rapid current. Rise on land and head for the opposite end of the landmass. Enter that ladder near the sign and head for the stairs that lead to white rocks. Use Strength and push the rocks into the corresponding holes. When you've had two rocks go through, jump on down. The water is no longer affected by the current, so you can now swim northward. You'll discover Articuno on a rock. Save and engage battle with it. :: Moltres :: Head for Victory Road from Viridian City. Do the puzzles like normal. However, when you go to the puzzle below head for the stairs near the switch. Take the stairs that are located near the rocks. Follow the short path and you'll see Moltres. Make sure you save before you start battling it. :: Zapdos :: Head to Rock Tunnel. When you reach a body of water, surf south and hit land when possible. If you continue north when on land, you'll see the old Power Plant. Navigate through the rubble and broken walls. Be sure to snag Pikachu (if you didn't get him at Viridian Forest), Electabuzz (Red), and the Level 43 Electrode hiding near Zapdos. Also, find the TM25 Thunder. At the end you'll find Zapdos near the exit. Save before battling.
