A concept introduced in Gold and Silver returns in Ruby and Sapphire. However, there is not as many Pokemon as before. There is just two new Pokemon to breed, but there ways of doing it are far from ordinary.

Two items required to breed these two Pokemon is the Sea Incense, and the Lax Incense. Both are found in Mount Pyre on the 4th and 5th floors respectively. You will need to attach these items to the male Pokemon before breeding with the female Pokemon.

Old Pokemon breeding methods are not listed here even though they do make in-game appearances in R/S. This is because the breeding method has not changed for them. If you would like to view those methods, please click here.
