![]() South of Fuschia City is a small hut with a man who sells food with his Pikachu. In the corner is a very weird machine that does absolutely nothing at first. However, if you enter this room with a Pikachu that knows Surf, you will be allowed to play a new mini-game. But how does one get a Pikachu with the move Surf? Simple. In order to get a surfing Pikachu, you will need Pokemon Stadium and a transfer pak. You must enter the Round 2 Prime Cup Master Ball Set with Pikachu, and five other Pokemon. You must then select Pikachu as one of the three Pokemon that will participate in battle, but Pikachu does not have to actually battle. It just has to be on your team. Pikachu must be one of your three Pokemon for every battle. I recommend Mewtwo and Dragonite as those other Pokemon. When you beat the Master Ball set, you will be prompted to teach Pikachu surf. Do so, and it will save it to your game.
![]() Now that you have a surfing Pikachu, go to the beach house described above. Talk to the msan, and he will ask if you would like to surf. Say yes. You will then be taken to a screen of Pikachu going to go surfing.
![]() Use the up, down, left, and right buttons on the D-pad to make Pikachu do flips when you reach the top of waves. The number of flips you do, the higher score you get. If Pikachu falls off his surfboard, you get no points. You must make it to the beach before you 6,000 HP total runs out. The more HP you have, the higher your score will be. You actually have to make it to the beach for it to save your hi-score.
![]() If you run out of HP, the game will end.
![]() As long as your Pikachu knows Surf, you can always come back here and play. The machine that once did nothing will now print out your hi-score if you have a Gameboy Printer. |
